 Introduction

Poco has officially unveiled the new Poco F7, positioning it as a strong contender in the value flagship segment—right where it belongs. As the successor to the widely praised F6, the F7 stays true to Poco's playbook: delivering blazing performance and sleek design without the flagship price tag.
Over the years, the F-series has become synonymous with exceptional performance for the price. Remember the trailblazing Poco F1 from 2018? Successive models like the F3 and F5 carried that legacy forward, packing top-tier chipsets and high-refresh-rate OLED displays.

The F7 picks up the baton, positioning itself just above the X-series while undercutting Xiaomi's own premium killers - all with the trademark confidence that has come to define Poco.

With the Poco F7, you get a Snapdragon 8-series processor (the S variant, but still technically a flagship chip), a vibrant 120 Hz AMOLED display, and a dual-camera setup promising everyday excellence. All of this comes wrapped in a polished design and backed by fast charging, all starting at a street price that makes you wonder how Poco still does it. In short, it's everything we expected from a new F-series phone, and then some.

Honestly, there are very few obvious omissions from the Poco F7 specs sheet: the display is excellent on paper, the chipset is potent, the stereo speaker setup seems solid, connectivity appears superb. You also get IP68 ingress protection and a 6,500 mAh battery in our international unit (even more on the Indian model), plus fast 90W charging.

Unboxing

Living up to expectations all starts with the retail package. The Poco F7 ships in a solid two-piece cardboard box - black with bold yellow lettering, in keeping with the brand identity. The box is solid and protects the phone well. A cardboard cradle on the inside keeps the phone in place. We found no plastic other than a small baggy for the phone, which is pretty good environment-wise.

Poco does not include a charger in the EU, but our unit comes bundled with one. It is the 90W Xiaomi unit with a USB Type-A port. It is accompanied by a proprietary USB Type-A to Type-C cable, which has an extra pin. You need this charger+cable combo to enjoy the fastest possible charging speed on the F7. Poco also throws in a nice TPU case in the retail box.

Samsung Phones May Get On-device Voicemail, Following iOS steps

 Samsung appears to draw inspiration from the success of iOS’s Live Voicemail feature. The South Korean tech giant could be planning to incorporate a similar functionality in One UI soon. A teardown of the One UI 8 beta code has indicated that Samsung may be planning to offer on-device voicemail functionality for Galaxy devices. As per the string of codes, Samsung’s feature will allow users to set the Galaxy phones to redirect incoming calls to an on-device voicemail.
